16 days and counting

In a mere 16 days the PAL Squad (sponsored by iQ Credit Union, thanks iQ!) will be competing in the fourth Annual PeaceHealth AppleTree 5k, half, & full marathon. For the PAL squad running in AppleTree is supporting the youth in our community and is an active way for them to live out the mission of PAL which is bringing Kids, Cops, and Community together. In short, we run as the PAL Squad because it is our WHY (see what we did there Why Racing?)

This year our run has a deeper meaning though. As a squad we have chosen to run this in honor of Sergeant Jeremy Brown of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office who was killed in the line of duty on July 23rd of this year. We run this year in memory of him.

There is still time for you get involved if you wish! You can register to run yourself by clicking HERE (remember youth under 18 run free) or perhaps you’d like to support the PAL Squad itself. You can do that by donating directly to PAL HERE (please put in the note section it is for the PAL Squad) or you can give via the race itself by visiting HERE. Additionally, if you want to give in honor of a particular PAL Squad member you can do so by reaching out to Jenny at jenny@palofswwa.org.

We are looking forward to the PeaceHealth Apple Tree and we hope to see you there!
