2021 PAL Officer of the Year Announced!

2021 PAL Officer of the Year Announced!

As National Mentoring month comes to a close, PAL gets to end the month by announcing our Officer of the Year. This is always a hard decision because every year we have well over 100 officers give their time to PAL and we appreciate every single one.

Thus, this year we sat down as a team and reflected on who stood out to us. Several came to mind, but after a little bit of conversation, we were all able to come to a unanimous decision. So without further ado, PAL’s 2021 Officer Volunteer of the Year is Sergeant Brie Bieber from Camas Police Department!

Sergeant Bieber stepped up in many ways over the last year. She helped recruit officers for the Battin’ for Blue Softball tournament, made sure officers were at literacy events, and attended several of these activities herself. Without her support and her help in reminding folx to attend PAL events, we would not have seen the participation that we did from Camas Police Department.

We would normally share some pictures of the officer volunteer in action, but Sergeant Bieber has a knack of hiding. She always seems to be focusing on the kids and helping us capture moments, rather than be the one at the center of it all. Another reason why we love and appreciate her so much!

Thank you Sergeant Brie Bieber. Thank you for all your support and the time you have given and continue to give to PAL.
