As we come to the end of the 2nd quarter, PAL is excited to announce that Deputy Josh Troyer of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office is our law enforcement professional of the quarter!
Deputy Troyer began his involvement with PAL as a player for our annual Hoopin’ with Heroes charity basketball games. Slowly though, Josh saw that he could be even more involved and in the last year he has truly jumped right in!
This last year he adopted a classroom at Glenwood Heights Elementary school via PAL Patrol and committed himself to attending pretty much EVERY SINGLE literacy event. He has also been known to support our basketball camps and even attend our Hoopin’ games while injured.
Deputy Josh Troyer truly invests in his community and we here at PAL have been blessed to see his passion as he volunteers with PAL. In fact his passion is so great that he has begun to recruit other deputies, encouraging them to volunteer with him.
So, thank you Josh. Thank you for volunteering with PAL and investing in your community. We are better and stronger because of you!
