What is PAL?

Police Activities League of Southwest Washington is a youth development non-profit that partners with law enforcement agencies to promote positive relationships between law enforcement officers and youth in the community through educational programs and recreational opportunities. PAL believes that it can help reduce the juvenile crime rates in Southwest Washington by empowering our youth to make responsible life choices. PAL offers youth with year-round programs and special events that foster teamwork, enforce citizenship, and provide the opportunities to work with law enforcement officers and adult mentors.

PAL Leadership Opportunities

Program Coordinator - Full Time, Non-Exempt
The Police Activities League of SW Washington (PAL of SWWA) seeks a dynamic individual to fill a Program Coordinator position.

PAL Program Coordinators' work with a team to develop, plan, and implement PAL programming throughout the year. During the academic school year, Program Coordinators are responsible for planning and implementing multiple literacy events, prospere mentoring programs, and sport tournaments. PAL also offers a variety of summer camps when school is not in session. Program Coordinators are a huge reason these summer camps run smoothly.

Summer Recreation Assistant - Temporary, Part Time, Non-Exempt
The Police Activities League of SW Washington is currently seeking to fill multiple positions for the Summer Recreation Assistant (SRA). 

SRAs will be directly assigned to a PAL Program Coordinator, and they will work with a team to implement PAL programming throughout the duration of summer. PAL offers a variety of summer camps when school is not in session including, but not limited to various sports and science camps. Summer programming works directly with youth ages 7 - 18 for approximately 8 weeks. All PAL events partner with local law enforcement agencies and community partners.
