We are merely two weeks away from Southwest Washington’s biggest day of online giving, Give More 24!, happening on September 24th. This year there are over 200 nonprofits participating in the 24 hours of online giving and PAL is of course one of them. Our plan this year is celebrate our collaborations and share some words from our PAL youth. We encourage you to check out our Facebook through out the day and of course we encourage you to give.

This year though we have a couple fun things happening:

• We are kicking off our day of giving promptly at 8am LIVE on Facebook at McCord’s Vancouver Toyota. This will be eight hours into the day of giving and we will be joined by our law enforcement partners enjoying donuts. We will of course be practicing social distancing.
• To celebrate 5 years of partnering, McCord’s is also putting up a $5,000 match for the day!
• Finally, our goal is that by the end of the night, between Give More 24! and the PAL Squad, we will have raised $22,000! If this happens, Jenny, PAL’s Executive Director, will visit her stylist, Shelby to have her hair dyed purple.

All in all we know that Give More 24! is going to be a grand day! There are so many options of nonprofits you can pick from to give to and we hope we are one of your choices.
