Heart Behind the Badge: A VIRTUAL Fundraiser

Heart Behind the Badge: A VIRTUAL Fundraiser

We are approximately 49 days away from our annual fundraiser: Heart Behind the Badge. Like many organizations, in light of COVID, we have pivoted our event from an in-person cocktail party to a virtual one. Yes we are going virtual and we hope that you will join us!

As much as COVID restrictions apply, we are encouraging folks to host their own cocktail parties and bring the fun of our event right into your home. You even have the opportunity to buy a ticket or two for yourself or for your whole group which will include dinner and drinks. In fact you can reserve your spot right now below:

We are working hard to make our program an entertaining one with stories and visits from some of our favorite officers. The pre-program starts at 5:30pm and the program itself will begin at 6:30pm. Additionally, we are fortunate enough to have Ashley Korslien, from KGW News, be our host and emcee for the evening!

Our virtual event though would not be possible without some our key sponsors. Without them our event would not nearly be as cool. Read below to learn more about our key sponsors:

Our next three sponsors are pretty special. We’ll start with iQ Credit Union who is helping us make a Virtual Photo Booth possible for this year’s event! We will be encouraging folx to use the Virtual Photo Booth and each time you do you’ll be entered in for a drawing at the end of the night. Our next sponsor is Middleton & Company who are sponsoring our gift card tree for the event. This is particularly special because rather than asking local businesses to donate to the tree, we are buying the gift cards. We felt it was important to give back to so many businesses who have given to us, especially in these wild times. Our final sponsor is Pomeroy Cellars who are helping us provide wine to our guests who buy tickets to the event.

So will we be seeing you on October 16th? We sure hope so. It will be a one of a kind event. Be sure to say that you’re coming on Facebook to get all the latest updates and be sure to reserve your ticket for the night (whether you’re securing a free or paid one). See you online in 49 days!
