Each season we get the opportunity to recognize an officer volunteer that has really stood out to us at PAL. This year, Officer of the Fall is an officer that has been a key player in our DUI and target enforcement lessons, he ran a half marathon with PAL and is one of the best DREs in the county, Officer Sean Donaldson! He has really stepped up this year to help PAL teach the youth of Clark County about the Traffic Unit and their importance in keeping our community safe.
Officer Donaldson was a huge help in a our high school camp this summer(CSI Vancouver), this week long camp gave the youth in our community a chance to learn some of the investigative procedures the traffic unit does on a daily basis, this includes, DUIs, speeding, collisions, and the tools that officers use. Sean has also started to mentor a Prospere group at Fort Vancouver High School. Eli, one of the Program Coordinators at PAL, when asked about what he thinks about Ofc. Donaldson, he said “I think that Sean is an amazing Officer, his passion for Target Zero (an initiative to drop the amount of vehicular related deaths) and love for PAL is inspiring”
Thank you Officer Donaldson for all that you do! We can not wait to see what the future holds for you and your involvement with PAL!
