Volunteer Spotlight

We have so many amazing volunteers who support PAL in so many different ways. This month we would like to shine the spotlight on Kellie Henderson! Kellie is a Juvenile Probation Counselor at the Clark County Juvenile Justice center and she has been volunteering with PAL for several years now!

Kellie is involved with many of our programs like, Prospere where she has been a mentor at both Legacy High school and Heritage high school. She is a great mentor because she listens to the teens in our group, she gives great advice and she brings in an awesome smile and humor to help make the teens feel more comfortable. She has also been known to show up at a PAL literacy event, signing books and hanging out with the kids. Kellie is also the boss that helps us collaborate with the juvenile Justice center to put on our annual Book fair during the holiday time.

Wherever she is and whatever she is doing Kellie always puts her all into helping serve you in Clark County. Her compassion and willingness to support and help goes such a long way and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her as a volunteer.

Thank you Ms. Kellie!
