Volunteer Spotlight

For this month’s volunteer spotlight, we are highlighting Mrs. Kasey Frazier! Kasey is a Program Assistant for the Community Outreach Unit at the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. She has been volunteering with PAL for over three years now! Kasey loves coming out and assisting at our Literacy Events that take place in the unincorporated areas of the County. At these events she signs books, hands out badge stickers and helps to take pictures as well. Kasey is one of our most dedicated volunteers, she very seldom ever misses a PAL Literacy event and is always willing to step up and help wherever needed.

Those of you who follow our blog regularly might remember a post about the amazing connection that Kasey made with a student named Marianna from Orchards elementary school during a literacy event there. When we went back to Orchards Elementary School this year, Marianna was in a different class, but still saw us and immediately asked for Kasey. Kasey makes a lasting impression on the youth that she comes into contact with through PAL, and the PAL team is very thankful to have her.

Thank you for all you do Kasey!
