Volunteer Spotlight

This month’s volunteer spotlight goes out to an amazing community member. She helps, supports and gives to not just our community but the youth and families in our community. Our volunteer spotlight goes to Kellie Henderson!

Kellie has been working with PAL for a few years now and she has done some amazing things!

She has started the Juvenile Court book fair, which is being planned right now as a drive thru event! She works with our Prospere groups as a mentor, she has such an amazing ability to connect with our youth. She listens to them, she supports them and she always puts them first. She has helped out our elementary school literacy events as well.

Kellie is a mentor at our Legacy high school Prospere group, she has been for a few years now and last year our group adopted a family who went through a lot, we put together cards and christmas stockings for them. Well, Kellie went above and beyond, not just with helping the familie but with the kids in the group. She works her magic and gets everyone to participate, join in on the fun and have a good and meaningful time.

Wherever she is and whatever she is doing Kellie always puts her all into helping serve you in Clark County. She has a contagious smile and an amazingly fun personality!  Her compassion and willingness to support and help goes such a long way and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her as a volunteer.

We heard that she is celebrating her 20th year as a juvenile probation counselor , we want to say congratulations and THANK YOU for supporting PAL, the youth we work with and for all of your years of service to this community and everyone in it.

Again, thank you Kellie!
